The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff

i watch it all online cause you can always find everything! Plus no commercials

i can only really listen to audiobooks that are below my normal reading level haha, because I cant really go back and re-read, I could rewind but its just awkward haha. But I love younger adult fictin stuff anyway, all good stuff.

I wing my patterns completely. I have the basic body pattern for things I make a lot of like the lumps, pocket yetis & newborn monsters, just so they look semi consistant together haha. I dont use muslin for the patterns either, I usually just use some extra fur I have or some fabric I dont use much of.

(super-delay response GO~) My laptop tends to freak when I stream things lol, poor thing.

Seems like most people don't use patterns! I'm either OCD or it's holdover from costume making heh. But I always like hearing how other people do things :3

I donnoooo, every other day? I use a bunch of stuff I never buy the same thing really. Right now Ive got some pink Herbal Essences stuff that makes my hair smell like candy @__@

I don't usually procrastinate much, cause art is something I love to do! When it came to schoolwork though I was always procrastinating until the last minute haha, cause I hated it
