Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Thanks everybody for asking me about my first craft show!

& Wishing me good luck and all that.
It went pretty well! It was a really small show, not too many people came, but I did well for the amount of people that showed up. I delighted many little kids, confused many grannies, and made some friends!

But anyway, the real reason I'm posting a new journal is to announce my CHRISTMAS SHIPPING DEADLINES.

My cutoff dates for sending plush to arrive by Christmas are:
United States: December 19th
Canada: December 13th
International: December 7th

I just want to make these dates clear so nobody gets mad at me if they order past the date and it doesn't arrive when they want it to.  I can also speed up shipping if you need it sooner for a few extra bucks, and send it Priority mail (For US its only about $3-4 more but for international its about $10 more :C )

ALSO!
I've gotten a lot of custom orders for Christmas/Hanukkah, and I can only take on so many, so if you wanted something special from me I suggest you order it soon!  Because I'm close to full up on custom orders.

AND ALSO!
This weekend!  I will have two plush showing at the awesome show called STUFF THIS.  I'm so pumped to have been invited to be part of it, I've always wanted to be in this show.
