Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

10. In 4th grade I had such an awful bowl cut that people always mistook me for a boy.

A long time ago I was in Amsterdam ,and got roped into going to the Zoo.

Needless to say Animals in Cages in confined city spaces aren't exactly my bag, but what was waiting in the gift store made up for it!

There was a Sloth hanging on a branch right in the middle of the gift shop, he was breathing and moving a bit, but as I got closer I saw a price tag. He was Animatronic (or however it's spelt) and with a price tag of 500 euros !

It was really great,I wanted it but it was too expensive, it would have been like having a real one, but without having to feed it, or pick algae off it's fur!

Im hankering after a Red panda myself, though I'd settle with a Leafy Sea Dragon

I really hope you get to do an enormous solo plushie show! I think you should just start making stuff for a solo show, and then start checking out places to do it. If no galleries want to give you a show, then just have your own! The seniors at my art school have used storefronts that have been abandoned for ages - the owners will often let you use a space temporarily in exchange for cleaning up the place and painting the walls. They've also gotten a landlord to allow them to hold a show in a large vacant apartment on the top floor of the building where one of the seniors lives. They had the entire apartment to install art, and it was an AWESOME show. I hope you get your own show, one way or another. If I lived near you, I'd totally come

You could movie to Australia and become a wildlife carer and rehabilitate wombats and other cool wildlife!? A lady that comes into the Vet Clinic I work at came in the other day and she had six joeys in the back of her car, it was awsome!!
