Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Helloooo!

It's been about a month since my last journal so I figured I should post one with some updates!

Upcoming shows!
Currently I have one item still left in the STUFF THIS show, which has been going on since December. You can find all unsold items from me & others here: [link]
I also have to upcoming ones, with the items still in the works. I'll be in the COOL KIDS NEVER DIE show in NM making some sweet 90s cartoon related stuff (It's a surprise!) It's on February 20th, & if you live in NM you should definitely check it out!

I also got invited to be part of a Last Unicorn themed show! Which will be held in April. They're also taking submissions for people to be in it, so if you're interested, go here! [link]

I signed up to take part in the PLUSH OLYMPICS that Kristen Rask of Schmancy is holding! It's just a fun, plush related contest, so if you make plush, check this out! [link] give you a category to plushify that has to do with the Winter Olympics! I think it sounds fun.

Also, I'm working on submissions to the latest issue of STUFFED.  I got in the past two issues, and I want to try for a third!  [link] you make plush, you should totally send them something!  You get a free magazine if you get in, plus being in print is just awesome!
